Archaeological trail In the 5th century B.C. there was an extensive Rhaetian settlement in Stufels, bordered to the north by a mighty wall and to the south by the rivers Rienza and Isarco, which flow together here. It was the capital of the Isarci tribe, who probably settled here. The typical Rhaetian dwellings were located close together and many fragments can still be seen.
